Job title: Senior Scientist
Bio:
After obtaining my Master’s degree in Biomedical Biotechnology at the University of Bari, I joined the lab of Prof. Constam at EPFL in Lausanne, where I obtained the PhD in Life Sciences studying the role of proprotein convertases in melanoma models. Then I moved to the lab of Prof. Vannini, where during my postdoc, I focused on metabolism and aging of T cells in the context of immunotherapy. Specifically, I was involved in identifying metabolic strategies aimed at improving T cell fitness and function. In 2025, I joined the Hi-TIDe team in the lab of Prof. George Coukos , where in the Development Unit I am involved in optimizing culture conditions and gene-engineering approaches to improve current TILs therapy.
